Fig, Elder Flower and Moonblood

Near the onset of COVID I moved back to the 12 acres of Wompumnes-Nisenan-Mewuk land in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where I was raised. I lived by myself in the original farmhouse next door to my parents and brother. While I was there I tended self, soul, home, land, ancestors and family relations. Even though I have known this land on and off for 29 years, this summer many new layers were revealed to me - like the Fig & Elder groves - and the power of returning my moon blood to the corn and creek. This is a photo-essay collection of my experiences, offerings, and gratitudes.
